Wanda Kayrene Phillips

Wanda K. Phillips, 82, of Danville, died Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington.

Born October 24, 1943, in Burlington, Iowa, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Rose (Steiniger) Lyons. On July 13, 1963, she married Joseph Phillips in Aberdeen, MD. Sadly, Joseph passed away May 28, 2022.

Survivors include her daughter, Danica (Jason) Wharton of Burlington, IA; grandson, Ronan Wharton; several nieces and nephews; and a family friend, Dean Holmes.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Steven Phillips; and her brother, Robert Lyons.

The Graveside Committal Service for Mrs. Phillips will be 10:00 am Monday, January 19, 2026, at Long Creek Cemetery, 20312 Agency Road, Danville.
