William Rudolph Schwerin, 85, of Burlington, died Monday, February 9, 2026, at his home.
Born July 29, 1940, in Burlington, IA, he was the son of Rudolph William and Ollie Westerbeck Schwerin.
William made box springs for Chittenden and Eastman Company for 41 years.
He was an avid cyclist and rode 101,000 miles in ten years, he enjoyed taking pictures and car shows.
Survivors include his son, Tod (Christine) Schwerin of Hamilton, IL and sister, Marciel Wardle of Dallas, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant daughter.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
There will be no visitation or services.
