Dianna Dickinson

Dianna Dickinson, 77, of Burlington, died Thursday, January 19, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City.

Born April 20, 1945, in Leon, Iowa, she was the daughter of Claude and Bernice Baker Brown. She was one of 10 daughters and loved being from a large family. On March 1st, 1979 she married Charles Dickinson in Hollywood.CA. He died on February 4, 2019.

Dianna was a member of New Life Family Church. She loved Jesus with all her heart, soul ad spirit and her purpose in life was to serve Him. She loved hosting bible studies and reading her bible every day. She loved and adored her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Survivors include four daughters, Dalena Ganakes (Mark) Larson of Sunrise Beach, MO, Denise Ganakes of Camarillo, CA, Danielle Ganakes (George) Harrison of Camarillo, CA, Ashly Dickinson (Cody) Harkcom of Springtown, TX; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Jeannie Kuster, Claudia Rehman, Tina Brown, Kimberly Kienast and Jackie Brown all of Burlington, Jaye Taylor of Santa Barbara, CA and Debbie Dotson of Dixon, TN.

Besides her husband of 39 years, she was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Marilyn Pilgrim and Linda Seitz.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

The celebration of life for Dianna will be 11:00 AM Friday, April 7, 2023, at New Life Family Church. A time of food and fellowship will be held at the Drake following the service.

A memorial has been established for New Life Church in Burlington, IA.
